Founded and currently manage an online community of Ethiopian high school and college students primarily using the Telegram social media platform to share relevant college application advice, information and resources for free to those who do not have much access as it is difficult for local high school students in Ethiopia to get their hands on such resources once they complete their secondary education.Also manage the Fanos team, which has 70+ volunteering members divided into 8 different teams focusing on the different aspects of Fanos including college application assistance, advertising, chat monitoring, website development, social media management, event organization, data tracking and essay reviewing. As part of the essay review program, in 2022, led the review of about 200 essays submitted by students applying abroad with the help of volunteering students studying in the U.S.Fanos currently has over 2,700 members in the main channel, with an average of 1000+ views per post, and 1100+ members in the active group chat, with over 3 questions on average being asked on the platform per day.
