• Bid document preparation ,contact agreement preparation, and checking• conducting on-site investigations and analyzing data• Evaluating bid criteria, managing tender preparation and monitoring bid management• Engage in the preparation of drawings/ designs/ specifications, bill of quantities and review/verify technical compliance • Engage in site selection and prepare appropriate bid documents and engineering cost estimations• Check completeness of contract documents of each project(drawings,BOQs,conditions of contract and specifications)• Review BOQs,technical specifications, drawings and contract documents for supplementary work prepared by the contractors • Check payment request by projects; initiation and preparation of construction claims; price adjustment computation and follow-up if any• Engage in contract administration through proper application of government civil works standards and manuals and signed contract agreement• Undertake regular site supervision for monitoring the quality of work executed as per the work standard and schedule, prepare, verify take off sheets and prepare payment certificates for approval• Provide timely feedback on the progress of the construction (monthly, quarterly, annual) report• Check the expiry date of performance bond and advance bank guaranty; and request for renewal if needed

• Preparation of designs, bill of quantities and specifications for waste water collection sewer lines construction works for different sites in AAWSA MEKANISA branch office (around jemo condominium, around Bisrate Gebreal site,Lebu site and etc. …)• Design New sewer line system profiles by sewer cad software• Review the contract document (GCC,SCC,techinical specification,BOQs,and minutes of negotiation)prior to starting of the project works, so that the contractor scope of works and its contractual obligation under the contract is kept• Review the work plan submitted by the contractor • Supervise pipe laying activities with the associated fittings and civil works for the same and related works (manhole construction, saddle connection works,etc…)• Control the overall earth work activities of the project• Supervise construction material quality test based on the technical specification (Red ash quality, sewage pipe material quality, concrete grade, bar schedule, and etc…)• Approval of submitted documents from the contractor such as extension of time claim, payment request, take-off sheet, layout and profile of pipes • Contractor’s schedule approval, notice to commence work, right of way issue handling with the client, working drawing approval by the contractor request and instruction for variation works• Field instruction, control of quality, time and cost depend on effective allocation of responsibilities.• Supervise the leakage test for the laid pipes• Prepares completion report and final financial report

• Manage, plan, organize and direct the activities of service pipe line installation works• Prepare annual work program, financial & physical budget and progress report of the Case team. • Supervision of all water supply design works like transmission lines, reservoirs works and pumps and coordinate all water supply activities and project engineers.• Design of hydraulic modeling, pressure engagement system and assists the technical division head in preparation of designs, technical specification, bill of quantities and cost estimates for maintenance or new construction works of water supply systems• approve designs,BOQs and specifications for service pipe line installation work • Over all control of service pipe line installation works & related activities

• Preparation of designs, bill of quantities and specifications for waste water collection sewer lines construction works for different sites in AAWSA MEGENAGNA branch office (around bole bulbula ,golagule, yeka site and etc. …)• Design the Extension of sewage line network to unsupplied areas• Make network sizing of the sewage pipes for the proper conveyance of sewage • Supervise pipe laying activities with the associated fittings and civil works for the same and related works (manhole construction, saddle connection works,etc…)• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports and other status report as required

• Responsible to organize and direct the activities of Water Distribution, System Control and Leakage on Control service lines of water supply.• Prepare work program and progress report of the Process• Ensure proactive maintenances are in place for water supply network.• Map updating; over all control of activities like water line maintenances, customer new line connection work, customer line replacement & upgrading, customer line leakage detecting.• Preparation of designs, BOQs and specifications for the new water supply system network• Fully supervise the activities being executed by the contractors based on the contract specification• Review and approve design drawings, construction plans, and other technical documents to insure accuracy and feasibility• Assess the status of all existing water supply systems • Make network sizing of the pipes for proper conveyance of water• Simulate the network to check the good functionality
