Responsible for all day-to-day administrative operations of the eye bank, including compliance with Medical Standards of the Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) and the regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Responsible for economical management of the eye bank. Responsible for human resources management. Responsible for advancing the eye bank as a local, state, national and world leader in sight restoration. Work closely with the Technical Leadership Team, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager, Hospital Development Manager, Referral Coordinator Manger and all eye bank personnel to ensure an effective donor program and the highest quality donor ocular tissues for sight restoration and sight related research. Provide back-up to the Technical Leadership Team for tissue recovery, processing, evaluation, eligibility determination and/or distribution. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with service area hospitals, ophthalmologists, Lions Club members and the communities of service in general.

Responsible for the training and continuing education of Eye Bank personnel. The QA/QC Director also is responsible for all regulatory and quality assurance related functions; interacting with the FDA and the EBAA; preparing, maintaining and implementing procedures and documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations; and, conducting audits of tissue recovery, evaluation, eligibility and processing.

100% Travel

With minimal supervision, perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines. Follow defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, turbine service, and/or installation processes, and other verbal or written instruction. Diagnose and solve turbine issues. Customer interface and mentorship to entry level technicians. Experience includes: Gamesa, Acciona, GE and Vestas wind turbines

Day to day supervision of employees including scheduling work activities, reports and other written and verbal communications between the Service Manager, Field Operations Manager, Management Team, customers, venders, etc. Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines. Follow defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, turbine service, and/or installation processes, and other verbal or written instruction. Diagnose and solve turbine issues. Customer interface and mentorship to entry level technicians. Experience includes GE, Vestas, Gamesa wind turbines.

All activities related to the screening, recovery, processing, and distribution of donor eye tissue for transplantation, research and/or education.

Perform phlebotomy, analysis of patient samples, difficult venipunctures, micro plate set ups, preparation of reference lab samples. Coordinate and perform clerical tasks around outpatient paperwork filing and billing needs. Document QA around accuracy of outpatient orders. Operate, monitor, and maintain basic lab equipment. Serve as positive resource for peers and students. Coordinate activities related to duties of other Lab Assistants. Promote teamwork. Communicate problems and needs to supervisor.

Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of G8X Wind Turbine. Experience in adhering to OSHA safety requirements for elevated industrial and high voltage electrical environments. Responsible for General Maintenance, Slip Ring Chamber maintenance, Transformer Retrofits, Park Preservation, Ground Kit Retrofits, Oil Sample QA, Chain Hoist Repair and Replacement, Lightening Card Installation, Yaw Motor Replacement, Maintenance Program Configuration and repair of electrical components, and general troubleshooting. Required to work at any site in the USA in short notice.
