As the CEO of Connected Railway, I lead a team of engineers and managers who are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the railway industry. With over 13 years of experience in railway engineering, I have a deep understanding of the technical, operational, and regulatory aspects of the sector, as well as the challenges and opportunities it faces in the digital age.My career journey began as a soldier in the Royal Corps of Signals of the British Army, where I gained valuable skills in satellite communications and engineering management. After leaving the military, I joined the London Underground as a signalling engineer, and then moved on to the British Railway Network (Network Rail), where I progressed from signalling assistant to signal maintenance tester with G110, the highest level of qualification in the field. I have also worked abroad on construction documentation control projects, and built and sold multiple events management companies, demonstrating my entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.
