Mr. Mesnick has 35 years of experience providing rail project management, asset management analytics and capital investment strategy, rail operating plans, engineering oversight, financial strategies, operations and maintenance (O&M) strategies, track engineering and maintenance of way planning, developing preventive maintenance for railroads and transits, state of good repair (SGR) condition assessment, business process improvement and strategies to ensure timetable adherence. He has also developed track engineering and MoW standards and standard operating procedures and practices applying reliability and condition based maainetnance practices.Mr. Mesnick is the Principal of TransTech Management (TTM) for over 20 years, a boutique firm specializing in SGR based condition assessment and investment planning, rail asset management, track infrastructure asset management, rail operations and investment planning strategy to US and international clients. Mr. Mesnick has significant expertise developing rail O&M standards, specifications, processes and practices as transit and rail organizations adopt international asset management standards and adopt data integration to suppprt life cycle based investment decision making across all operating departments.

Dan served as Atkins North America Rail and Transit Enterprise Asset Management National Program Director working closely with NY MTA to support their multi-year EAM journey and other transits and commuter rail operators nationally. At Atkins, Dan won two large major enterprise asset management contracts at MTA New York as well as work with transit clients across the US.
