As an Account Manager at Baker Hughes I have the pleasure of meeting the best of the best in the oil field on a consistent basis. Learning about drilling different applications all over North America and providing solutions is truly a pleasure for me. Opportunities to work with customers large and small provides me with a rich learning environment and the chance to make and grow lasting relationships. I am here focused on learning how to drill the most efficient well possible and I just happen to sell drill bits for one of the best manufacturers in the world.

Working with Baker Hughes is a pleasure because of the caliber employees that I work alongside and the excellent customers I am privileged to serve. Operating as a Technical Field Representative in the Hughes Christensen drill bits division is an exciting facet of the oil field. Drill Bits is an ever evolving technology, and working for one of the largest service companies in the world allows me to provide the most advanced products to my customers. Field work in the Eagleford allows for a very tangible learning environment and the opportunity to get into contact with tenured oilfield veterans. This access has helped me position myself in an area where I can learn every day, which for me, is what its all about.

The duration of the three month internship at Baker Hughes I had the privilege of working with experienced and respected people of the Oil and Gas industry. The CH Robinson branch based in Monterey, CA is proudly one of the most productive branches in the company. With their focus set on perishable produce I was able to learn among great employees: - Create supply chain efficiencies- Solve problems in transit real time- Collaborate with customers while selling a customized service - Work well in a team and cross-functionally

Spending time with the CSUMB Disc Golf Team was an excellent experience. We raised funds for events, sold and managed inventory, and hosted events. Achievements included- Two time West Coast Champions- Local Boys and Girls Club Collaboration- 4th overall National Rank

Donated time working in the renewal project garden. Encouraging local individuals without homes participate in growing food and flowers to create community.

While in college at CSUMB nearly every business course I took involved a group-final project. The School of Business takes this approach to teach students how to work well in teams to overcome obstacles while heading for a common goal. One of these projects was to choose a local small business and do an analysis of their marketing efforts while providing recommendations and support. Our group was able to give some valuable recommendations and helped the Company move from having a stale Facebook page to gaining on average of 20 friends per day. We drew up two potential promotion ideas to create a buzz around their brand and products and encouraged updated photos and articles for their website while also recommending various SEO tips.We saw great success with our campaign and it felt encouraging to be able to help out a local small business. I am proud to say that the videos I wrote and directed for the DGA have received a cumulative view count of nearly 150,000
