The Catalog team, a key part of the Marketing department, central to the marketplace, manages the entire product lifecycle from seller data ingestion, cleaning, matching and enrichment to putting products live on the website. This team also facilitates the implementation of navigation features such as clean listing page filters, product page pickers, and cross-sell functionalities, effectively balancing product creation upstream with marketing strategies downstream. This approach aims to deliver high-quality listings while minimizing operational costs and enhancing user experience.As point of contact for cross-team operational projects and issues related to Catalog Quality at Back Market, I oversee several key initiatives. My responsibilities include determining and monitoring Catalog Quality KPIs and conducting data analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement. I lead the development of an automated, cloud-based Quality Control system utilizing data models, data pipelines, and algorithms. Additionally, I manage the reworking of the catalog structure and the standardization of main categories, among others projects.
