A little bit about me….In 2010 I was given notice that my "secure" job was being moved out of state. Having an entrepreneur spirit, I had already been brainstorming on bringing replacement parts to the retail market but didn’t have the experience or guts to go for it. Losing my job was the catalyst that forced me to put a plan into action! With an enormous amount of advice from great friends and mentors, inspiration from a few great books and a whole lot of brainstorming AMS Construction Parts was founded and began in my basement in September of 2010. With our unbelievable team AMS has grown into an industry leader that provides the coolest industry and customer base in the world (in my opinion 😊) with world class parts and solutions! What's it like starting and growing a company? Doing your best most days, never settling, always learning, hiring the right people, lots of mistakes that hopefully you see as opportunities. Many people never start the entrepreneur journey because of the lack of resources or talent. I had little of both! The 2 mandatory requirements I have found is passion and perseverance. Pursue your passion!What am I passionate about? Growing a world class customer centered focused company. We get to vision ideas and see them come to life! Probably my favorite thing about the journey is getting a front row seat to witnessing our team grow in their professional and personal lives. The most important thing for me personally is keeping the right priorities. When I’m passionate about my relationship with God and my family first then everything else will fall in its place. Values and work/life balance supply the energy to fulfill my daily roles.
