About Daniel Milloy
Originally from Erie, Pa, Dan Milloy moved to Reading in 1987 to attend Alvernia University. After graduating from Alvernia's addiction studies program in 1989, Dan worked from 1989-1993 at TASC as an addictions specialist. He then worked for the County of Berks as an adult probation officer from 1993-2014, serving the last three years as supervisor of the specialty court, alternative sentencing, and DUI programs. Dan returned to TASC in 2014 and has served as the agency's seventh executive director for the past ten years.Dan completed his master's degree from Amberton University in 2014, and his PhD in leadership and criminal justice from the University of the Cumberlands in 2023. Consistent with TASC's mission, his research interests focus on finding alternatives to arrest, prosecution, and incarceration for nonviolent criminal offenders with substance use disorders.Dan and his wife Jen have been married for over 30 years and reside in Blandon, Pa. He has two grown sons, is an avid swimmer, and is a lifelong Houston Astros fan.
