I am an EE pretending to be a CS major. Most projects seem to involve software, so I have ended up strong in Linux (Red Hat on x86 and PPC architecture; and Ubuntu) and Microsoft Windows administration to take care of the lower level details, but really enjoy software creation and architecture. And still more end of 2023!In my free time I do some running to stay in shape. My first marathon was the 2012 LA Marathon with a time of 4:51. I ran the 2013 LA Marathon in 2013 with a PR of 4:07, and ran the 2014 and 2015 LA Marathons but it was really hot. I am trying to break the elusive 4:00 mark, but you really don't know how race day is going to go. Update -- I switched to the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach for 2016, and made 3:53 in 2017. In 2018 I ran Surf City again for fun with the Three Amigos, and am signed up for the OC Marathon with Dos Amigos. Update 2 -- I am usually running the Surf City and OC Marathons for the past years. Total marathon count is 17 in 2023.
