As a leasing agent for TF Cornerstone, I work in a number of the company's high-end residential properties throughout Manhattan and Long Island City, Queens. Currently, I manage the leasing office for the company's 1028 residential units at their newest property at 606 West 57th Street. In this position, I oversee the entire leasing process from start to finish through advertising, pricing, guiding prospective tenants through the application process, collecting financial documentation, running credit reports, creating leases and answering any and all questions prospective tenants have. I also work closely with the building management to facilitate move-ins and make sure units are prepped and ready by the tenant's move-in date. It is critical in this position to know the New York real estate market, including current prices and incentives being offered by competing buildings. Being a leasing agent has allowed me to expand my knowledge of each building's neighborhood characteristics and features and has given me a better sense of the marketplace as a whole. I enjoy working with new customers everyday and helping prospective tenants find their new home.

In my position as the residential leasing agent with the Olnick Organization, I had an abundance of leasing responsibilities. This included advertising, pricing, and generating leads and comparable reports on the company's luxury doorman buildings on the Upper East Side and Midtown East in Manhattan and in Fort Lee, NJ. I showed the prospective applicants units that fit the description of what they were looking for based on their personal preferences, and guided them through the leasing process from the application all the way through creating and signing leases. I also negotiated renewals with current residents for the 350+ units and was the point of contact for any leasing based questions they may have had.

I showed them apartments that fit their needs as well as the amenities in the building. I then guided them through the application process and gathered the necessary paperwork to lease the apartment. Responsibilities also included; answering phones, checking on the status of clients paperwork and leases.

My responsibilities include: Setting up meetings with potential clients, participating in joint-work meetings with senior representatives, putting together a holistic financial plan for clients to bridge the gap between their financial goals and objectives and current financial assets, continuing education about financial products as well as other various tasks.
