Manage all aspects of a project from planning to close out. Responsibilities include participating in the planning phase to develop schedules as well as staffing and execution plans. Managing personnel, equipment, and materials to successfully execute work scope and manage customer expectations. Oversee cost control aspects of projects to maintain billing timeliness and accuracy as well as taking responsibility of vendor needs.

Expanding responsibilities from Project Engineer role to include greater level of autonomy. This role includes the management of projects under the supervision of more experienced Project Managers.Participate in the training of entry level individuals to our company, including the establishment of training exercises and working hand in hand to foster an active learning environment.

Help to develop proposals and contracts related to work being performed. This task includes deciphering engineering specification documents and drawings, estimating labor and materials required to complete the tasks, and negotiating with clients leading to the award of multiple contracts.Member of execution team on projects ranging from $50,000 to >$10 million. Estimate and order materials based upon inspection reports and field measurements. Work with labor supervision to ensure the correct installation of materials and adherence to QA/QC programs, including the sampling and testing of materials to ensure adherence to both manufacturer’s compliance data sheets and owner’s engineering specifications, while also keeping to schedules and meeting deadlines. Discuss design requirements with owner’s engineering department to determine desired design parameters and inspection test plans for various installation methods. Work with third-party inspection from initial equipment inspections through project completion to ensure satisfactory completion of repairs.
