OPVLENCE APPAREL.The brainchild of two childhood best friends, OPVLENCE was conceived as new alternative to the way clothing brands created their garments in the Vaal Triangle. The clothing label has since gone on to be a solo effort, with its director launching 'pure boys 2003' as an exetension of the OPVLENCE APPAREL family.An offshoot of the brand has emerged - aptly named 'pure boys 2003', this is the clothing label's attempt at diversifying its appeal and broaden its market base. pure boys 2003 aims to be more graphic-orientated and appeal to a younger LSM. OPVLENCE APPAREL will incorporate semi-formal clothing items to suit a more mature LSM.

An SBM is responsible for ensuring that Red Bull is the leading energy drink of choice at their respective campuses. He/she is also responsible for engaging with various groups throughout campus. The job also entails integrating marketing strategies specifically tailored for students; including low-cost, high-impact events (hacks), talent-searching competitions (e.g. Campus Clash) & conducting seeding expeditions, with help from the Wiings Team.

BehindART was an independent multi-media project that became the Vaal's first street photography crew. Former members are, Mpho Mulaudzi, Sanele Blaai, Moeketsi Mokoena, Daniel Mokoena & Lerato Khororo.Currently, each member of the crew is involved in the media and arts space as independent artists.
