During my time as a Corporate Security and Regional Security Officer, I managed comprehensive physical security operations for 130+ financial institutions in the Pacific North-West region. I successfully completed facility risk assessments and audits, analyzed data, and reported on trends in the criminal justice sector. I utilized my vast knowledge of the Corporate Security field to oversee special investigations and projects as needed to streamline operations. During my tenure with the City of Long Beach Police Department, I served as a police officer and first responder to oversee public safety and property protection within the City of Long Beach, CA. I also drove comprehensive community engagement with a diverse and multifaceted population to build and sustain relationships and collaborated with city, state, and federal agencies to drive joint investigations as needed. My vast knowledge of the criminal justice field afforded me the ability to effectively coordinate with businesses and institutions to obtain evidence on crimes including undercover operations and surveillance as a plain clothes officer. I ensured proper drafting of search warrants and comprehensive investigative reports. I successfully interviewed victims, witnesses and suspects to gather evidence, serve subpoenas, and make arrests. I also utilized my relationship building and management skills to mentor new officers in comprehensive police department policies, procedures, and regulations.
