I have been employed in the primary education sector since 2004. Since completing my qualifications in 2005, I have worked in primary schools across the Melbourne metropolitan area. I am a passionate teacher keen to expand and impart my skills in and out of the classroom. My enthusiasm and professional learning have equipped me to assume leadership roles in both curriculum development and wellbeing areas.In these roles, I have collaborated with PLTs and the whole staff to develop new and engaging curriculum, effective pedagogical practices and student learning engagement. I have conducted ongoing professional learning including areas such as curriculum planning and focussed peer observations. I have developed and implemented a range of school wide programs, key policies and guidelines in line with the school’s intent. In all areas, I continue to enjoy the experience of developing better learning environments to develop the capacity of my colleagues and to provide all students with positive gateways to learn.
