I led a team with responsibility for leadership development and talent management initiatives serving a global team of 6000 in a high growth technology and retail environment.* COVID Response:When the current crisis began my team supported the business to move to 100% remote working, despite not having had a culture of it previously. During this time we completely overhauled our training and leadership development model, resulting in a huge increase in engagement with our programmes.Q1 2020 saw us: - improve our organisational reach 180% based on the prior year - increase our engagement by 140% YoY - continued to deliver core programmes at the same rate as pre-COVID, with no drop off in performance. • Leadership - In 2019, I trained and led a growing team to design and deliver a global, digital-first leadership development strategy for THG: o 770 attendees across our core leadership programme offerings.o Delivery at scale, increasing learner engagement across the group by +189% YoY.o A 4.4/5 average rating across core programmes, based on participant feedback. o A net positive team ROI of £5:1 for 2019.• Organizational Development o Oversaw the growth of the THG Apprentice Programme from 15 participants in 2018 to 106 in 2019, within a -5% attrition rate. o Led the design and delivery of a comprehensive graduate training programme for an annual intake of 250 graduates to address early skill acquisition, resulting in an improvement of the retention rate for graduates from -25% in 2018 to -2% in 2019. • Coaching o 120+hrs of executive coaching in 2019 at C-level and with those selected for our executive development programme.o Trained my team and other managers in this crucial skill. o Completed PGCert in Business and Personal Coaching from the University of Chester. • Strategy o Responsible for addressing business priorities including succession planning, team culture, agile management, wellbeing initiatives and remote working.
