Fulfillment Manager
Current• Manage a warehouse fulfillment team that provides same day service to our clients nationally and internationally, utilizing a compliant and efficient supply chain• Responsible for coordinating the staffing of multiple logistics personnel, both seasonal and full time, and subsequently managing their daily functions and development using a continuous improvement/Kaizen Methodology• Analyze data of sales, productivity, and same day ship and lead with a continuous improvement mindset• Negotiate contracts and support from various vendors to ensure both on time, and on schedule delivery of merchandise to ensure the most cost-effective shipping, handling, and packaging available• Primary resource of data analytics and auditing for both cost and time in transit for UPS and FedEx contract negotiations• Primary resource for writing and implementing multi-carrier rate shopping logic through our 3rd party shipping software partner Logistyx Technologies • Ensures that all international outbound shipments are compliant with NAFTA agreements and correct international customs documentation are attached or associated with each shipment• Schedule, plan and purchase all consumable commodities based on a packaging production schedule• Supervise and implement daily cycle counts as well as root cause research• Primary leader for semi-annual company inventories• Purchase and schedule all material handling equipment and facilities maintenance• Warehouse safety leader. Conducts safety meetings and adheres to company policy on safety and accident prevention measures
