I had a good run with the federal government working in the area of firearms and explosives regulatory enforcement, culminating my career in Detroit as an Area Supervisor in charge of the 34 eastern most counties of Michigan and with 14 federal employees. After retirement, I did some part-time work in the firearms industry and also acted as a caregiver for many months. Prior to joining the federal government, I had obtained a Series 7, Series 6, and Series 63 license, but chose my federal career path instead.Today, I'd like to break into the personal finance/retirement planning industry as a financial representative. I would be content to help those who can barely help themselves or those with the means who lack the retirement planning skills they'll need.
