Since 1999 Daniel Morello has worked with clients in the San Diego area before integrating his skills to the greater Big Bear area in the San Bernardino Mountains. This led to meeting many amazing clients, friends and contacts, as well as seeking of fun times during the 4 seasons. Instead of moving back to San Diego in the spring, he continued to promote his business, Harmony Through Awareness Mobile Massage and eventually changed the name to "Mountain Mobile Massage" in 2003. Seeing a need to expand further, "& Spa" was added in early 2011. Only male therapist on staff, part-time/on-call. As my mobile massage business grew, I scaled back at the spa, but used my time there to build my client relations skills, learn new body treatments, make extra money.
Part-time, used position while building clientle for my mobile massage business after moving to Big Bear from San Diego. Quit after the business grew to support itself without extra wages from outside jobs. Great experience with customer service, outside working conditions, team building, ethics, etc.
Established in San Jose, moved to San Diego to continue training, company name change to HTA Mobile Massage upon moving to Big Bear Lake. Our therapist offered $1/minute chair massage at 2 Whole Food Market locations in SD, ran booths at Sport/Racing events, offered mobile massage, corporate chair massage, spa massage at The Hyatt Hotel in SD and more. While licensing was still in effect, I would travel between areas to keep existing clients happy, but grew too busy to go back and forth.
We started off at CombiChem, a small start-up Pharmaceutical company in SD. Two therpaists would provide all employees with weekly chair massage. Company was bought out by DuPont and operations moved to a huge office in the UTC area of SD and we began offering table as well as chair massage to a growing staff of over 100. Each staff member received an hour of massage per month. We kept very busy!
