• Responsible for direct, indirect, subcontracting and MRO procurement for the optics line of MT AutoChem products• Materials range from machined parts, optics, electronic components, PCBAs and off the shelf purchased parts. • Expedite orders for internal and external customers per MRP messages and arising needs. • Participate in weekly material review board meetings to disposition discrepant material and request RMA and supplier corrective action as required.• Work closely with planning to align production needs in a high volume manufacturing environment.• Apply lean manufacturing 5S concepts to daily work seeking continuous improvement of product, processes and quality.• Manage continuous replenishment via Kanban, breadman, vendor managed inventory, and ROP (reorder point)

• Process purchase requisitions (paper and ERP originated) from departments with over 100 unique internal customers. • Confirmed faxed, emailed and GHX (EDI) purchase orders to ensure accuracy of price and delivery. • Monitor back orders/expedite delivery when necessary and communicate supplier backorderissues to departments.• Collaborate with Receiving and Accounts Payable to settle receipt and pricing exceptions.
