From my first steps into engineering as an apprentice, training to be a centre lathe turner producing commercial and defense components i have always enjoyed what i do. From here I went on to have daily experience of programming and using protrak communication based programs on various xyz lathe and milling machines. I have also now completed courses in using fanuc based cnc program systems and program for at least 4 fanuc based cnc machines on a regular basis.I have gained experience from a range of different areas which was gathered through my apprenticeship at HETA as well as my HNC in mechanical engineering.I am hard working and can work well in a team environment. I am also confident to work on individual tasks. I feel my work ethic is relentless and enjoy being the first one in and last one out. Til the job is done.In September 2015 I have been promoted to Machine Shop Foreman. Building on the current skill set that I already had. I am now able to provide and manage the 14 tradesman that are currently in the workshop. I oversee the apprentices and help guide them through the steps that i took not so long ago.
