Responsible for managing all staff within the Application Team and carrying out the appraisal process with all of the staff annually, or more frequently if required. Responsible for key aspects of the management of the Terminal Operating System:- • Setting Targets, collation and creation of KPI’s and Targets for internal resource and support functions • Creating and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements. • Ensuring Data Integrity is maintained within the system. Managing the structured creation of operational elements of the system, such as vessel creation/amendment, customer data/details, contract and charging mechanisms. • Posses or build an overview of key integration platforms such as MCP Destin8. • Building necessary skills to cater for the needs of the business and the effective management of the system, including: Business Intelligence, reporting tools. • Liaison with software vendors and third party suppliers, management of the Change Control process and System enhancements in partnership with PD Ports IT department, working within Corporate Policies, guidelines and best practice. • Managing customer data flows to/from the System and ensuring Customer service levels are maintained. • Co-ordinating the testing and implementation of System enhancements and upgrades. • Managing and monitoring of systems and associated infrastructure resilience. • Management of supplier, Navis, through SalesForce cases.• Prioritising Navis SalesForce cases based on operational requirement and escalating within the PD Ports IT department.• Business improvement in line with the strategic requirements of the business. • Act as an escalation point for operations and any other business users with regards to issues with the Navis application.• Act as a contact between the business, IT and the vendor and vice versa, to ensure vendor costs are kept to a minimum.• Liaising extensively with external or internal clients

• Responsible for programming Integrated Financial Systems software (IFS), in terms of reports and Module Configuration• Provide ongoing support in all areas of the IT Provision• Instrumental in the creation and provision of User training (IFS, Visio, MS Office etc.)• Perform SQL coding to written technical specifications• Create reports based on financial and historical data using both Crystal Reports and SQL coding• Providing Helpdesk Support for MS products, IFS, Lotus Notes, Citrix etc• Deliver Training in MS Products along with IFS• Provide onsite support, UK & Ireland.
