Proudly wearing the 'bit of a geek' badge, I hold employment experience in a range of engineering and technical disciplines. I practice a diverse skill set and a fascination for all things technology related. I have previously served in the United Kingdom Royal Air Force as an experienced aircraft technician, gained an engineering honours degree in yacht design, and worked as a naval architect seconded to the structural design team within the Aircraft Carrier Alliance on the project to design and build the UK's new 'supercarriers', HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales. Always keen for a challenge, the skills I have gained via my career so far and personal interests are called upon every day and have served to make me a versatile and dependable problem solver. I am highly confident assimilating new skills and in particular getting to grips with new technology. I am proud to be able to pass on my enthusiasm and knowledge to our young people who will become the next generation of designers and engineers during this technological revolution.
