What I like… let’s take some cells, study their behaviors, add some molecules and this is it. Since I was young I have always been excited about discovering how our perfect machine works and the more I studied the more I felt fascinated by its aspects. I’ve started to read Anatomy and biology books, throughout high school, and at the moment I am attending/finishing a Master’ degree in Bionanotecnolgies under biomedical engineering.I wish to continue researching to improve or find better and new therapies against strictest diseases of our modern society. My studies are focused on neurodegenerative disease, with more attention about Alzheimer’s disease, and cancer.During my free time I enjoy to use my laptop for coding and watching programs and applications which appear on my devices, since 2020 I became curious about informatic development and I learned what it is needed to create mobile applications going by Java, Swift, C# and lastly Dart. My thought is that easier things work smarter and better, for this reason I am focusing on learning Flutter for the application development, a straightforward environment in quick growing. When I have real free time, with empty hands from laptops and academic paper, I dedicate myself to reading every kind of books, I like to go out and have outdoor activities such as running or walking. I love travelling and visiting new places. I have been in several italian historical sites and at the moment I am in England for discovering more about this culture and developing my studies.

Biomedical EngineerNewcastle University Mar 2023 - Aug 2023Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, United KingdomFor my final master project, I moved and work at the Newcastle university. The aim of the project was to design the whole workflow for producing nanoteranostich particles for treating Prostate cancer and Osteosarcoma. In particular, the nanoparticles underwent some optimizations, as well as different chemical and physical tests, in order to assess their good manufacturing. Lastly, the nanoparticles were tested directly on cancer cell lines to evaluate their uptake and efficiency.
