Responsible for the system architecutre design and definition for the customer routers for DPI & Security features. providing requirments and high level design documents for the system engineering group.

Relocated to China (Beijing) in order to manage a R&D SW group responsible for Access Carrier Switch products Applications in PN Business Line ( ~30 engineers as part of the multi-site development strategy in NSN). The group was responsible for the development of L2 protocols package. The core SW was acquired from a 3rd Party company (which is used commonly in other similar products/companies). The package supports many protocols such as 802.1ad, 802.1s,802.3ad, 802.1ag, 802.1ab etc.... Acted as the architect of the package defining the integration strategy , feature enhancements & testing.The package design was successfully ported to both Linux & VxWorks and being used by several products making the design Multi-OS & Multi-Platform. have been selected by NSN as a potential common assets to be used by other business lines.

Project manager in NSN Carrier Ethernet Operating system project. The project consisted of 3 main developing sites (Israel, Poland & China). The NSN CET solution was designed to operate on multiple platforms & opertating systems with Linux being the first OS to be supported.Played a major part in defining the architecture of the network services and lead the design and integration to the basic platform for these services. Evaluated 3rd party SW packages to meet deadlines and functionlaties (such as Aricent L2 Package , IP Infusion etc…).Was responsible for technical coordination between all sites (building WS , traveling between sites to make sure everyone are syncronized with all the new decesions and developments).

Project Leader & Software Manager of a group in charge of development the AC10x0/AC25x0 product lines. I was leading a group of ~11 Engineers consisting of 3 teams. As Project Leader I was in charge of all the apects of the project inluding working closly with PM (Product Management), CS (Customer Support), QA, HW and Engineering Groups. Under my responsabilites I was also in charge of task assigments , Building a work plan (Gantt), writing HLD - High Level Design documents.

Network Processor Team leaderLeading the team that developed the next-generation platform that included two network processors working in parallel. The team consisted of 5 engineers who were responsible for the development of the product from design to implementation.The product consited of 5 C.P.U which were interconnected. 3 of them were running Linux operating system and two network processors which did not have the operating system. We have developed Linux Kernel modules and applications that communicated between processors and the with other various applications in the system2003 – 2005 (2 years) - SW Infrastructure Team LeaderThe team consisted of 3 engineers. The team provided software infrasturcture as well as writing the BSP for the variuos products.This team developed drivers for OC3/12/48 Cards as well supporting variuos Intel Chipstes for the X86 products.

I was part of the team responsible for porting legacy vxWorks system to new Linux Based product.I was in charge of developing the WAN interface card based on the MPC8250/70 PCI card.

In charge of developing drivers for MPC8260 processor communication. Worked with the MPC7xx, and also introduced a PCI BUS (professional course) and Gigabit Ethernet NIC from INTEL. In addition, the role demanded recognition of the many Communications devices sucg as routers, switches, etc.. and also recognition of the many communications protocols such as: FRAME RELAY, ETHERNET, HDLC. Etc. The main programming language was C (Real-time Embedded). The role demanded in-depth understanding of the operating system (VxWorks) in its interfaces and understanding of the higher levels aspects of the software (memory management, semaphores etc.).
