I'm currently attending Rutgers University-New Brunswick, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, with hopes to one day become a software developer. I have always had a fascination when it comes to technology, and I have enjoyed working with it throughout my academic career, wanting to learn more about it. I also look for more resources other than just course lectures like online lectures, discussing other topics in computer science like programming languages and data structures. I have also made it a priority to keep up to date on the changes and innovations in technology and how this affects the industry.I have some experience working with technology when I was a medical assistant at Brunswick Medical Associates. In my position, my responsibilities included taking vitals and medical records of patients and putting them into an electronic records database so the doctor may be able to access them from anywhere. I also helped the patients to set up their own way for how to access their medical records electronically as well. Through this experience, I became more detail-oriented, organized, and gained a better understanding of how to communicate with others who may or may not know how technology works, qualities I know are important in software development.
