I am generally curious about everything and thrive in environments where I can think outside of the box. I enjoy working with people, bridging gaps, and working across whitespace. I love learning and am a quick learner. My learning style is complimented by my curiosity. Picking up new concepts and technologies comes easy to me. I enjoy working hard, I get the most out of my day when I feel like I’ve accomplished what I set out to do. These attributes of mine deeply align with creating solutions with technology. Whether it’s an end-to-end implementation, integration, support, or training I strive to present my best self and promote the best outcome. The most common feedback I receive from peers is that they are grateful I am on their team. People say they enjoy working with me because of my attitude (I don't let much get to me) and humor (I am generally hilarious). In team environments, I tend to pick up tasks that others shy away from. I am open-minded, and a great communicator. When any colleague is facing an issue, I am one of the go-to guys to call. By listening and providing some insights a great outcome is almost inevitable.A little history about me; I started working in IT at my family’s consulting and budding computer business when I was a teen. As a consultant for small-town businesses, I needed to have some basic of understanding of all aspects of IT work. For all our small town we took care of any computer needs; networking, programming, training, server administration, database administration, hardware support, and software support. One of our customers eventually poached me to do something very different. They needed somebody to learn how to program a Fanuc CNC. I was given the manual, and some existing code and learned the system. I eventually started doing other machinists' work along with supporting and doing computer work. It was a great experience and it helped me learn how capable I could be working outside of my comfort zone.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, learning, golfing, gaming, and playing table tennis.Skills: .NET, Java, C++, VBA, HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, JavaScript, Web Forms, MVC, REST, K2, Python, R, Machine Learning, T-SQL, PL-SQL, XML, Project Management, Change Communication, ITIL, ITSM, Cherwell, Data Science, Data Analytics
