Responsible for;• Setting out and picking up of geological exploration holes,• Topographical surveys of open casts before, during and after mining operations, using total stations and associated soft wares• Setting out pit limits, benches, profiles, staking bore holes, staking and picking up drill holes for blasting,• Monthly measurement of the open casts and stock piles to determine their volumes (computations using SurpacMinex) for contractor payments and record, • Updating mining plans (manually on hard copy maps and digitally in Surpac), • Monitoring of waste rock and soil dumps and updating related plans• Setting out of roads, ramps, drains, buildings and plant construction,• Updating and maintaining a database of all surface control pointsAlso responsible for all survey works for Engineering surveys as well as surveys relating to building, civil and plant construction and maintenance at Limeco Resource Limited.

Kitwe, Nkana East

TasksCarried out all open cast survey work required before, during and after all mining operations. This involved;• Monthly measurement of the open casts (Areas A, C, E, D, J, K and Nose) and stock piles to determine their volumes (computations using SurpacMinex) for contractor payments and record• Preparing reports for the measures• Observations of ground levels at the Nkana football ground stadium. • Staking out of blast holes• Staking out bore holes for geological analysis• Monitoring of water levels at mindola dam• Controlling the levels of the Crane Rail in the Compressor House and many other newly installed machines.• Surveying all excavations and producing up-to date plans of the same both manually (paper maps) and digitally (in Surpac Minex),• Setting out and picking up of geological exploration holes,• Uploading and downloading of survey information to and from Survey Instruments (Total Stations) using associated software (Leica Survey Office and Mining Editor)• analysis of survey downloaded data using computerized systems (MS Excel, SurpacMinex and AutoCAD),

• Field work of measuring the Centre and extents of the road • Surveying of the road route for road design• Picking the road levels and producing road profiles • Establishments of roads bench marks • Carrying out soil sample test for plasticity, soil moisture, and other soil mechanical properties

• Field work of beacon verification for surveyed plots • Projects in Bamola, chilanga for land demarcations • Making survey diagrams and site plans. • Carrying out varieties of field surveys • Helping in executing varieties of computer software.
