Environmental Expert
Current•Undertaking and coordinating environmental impact assessments and audits for various clients and sectors to inline with the Environmental Management and Coordination Act EMCA, 1999 (REV 2015 ) and associated Legal Notices. This includes development projects under Schedule II of EMCA in the following sectors- Conservation of natural resources- Building/construction industry- Transport industry- Energy and water resources- Marine and coastal resource utilization- Wetlands conservation and management- Tourism - Forestry- Large scale agricultural establishments- Waste management• Developing environmental research and monitoring project proposals targeting areas of interest by NGOs and the private sector• Implementing collaborative research activities with government lead agencies in environmental resources management• Capacity building for local community conservation groups working with NGOs and government agencies• Providing consultancy and guidance to various clients on environment and conservation• Developing environmental organization procedures for clients including setting up of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) committees and training them• Developing and assisting clients implement environmental policy documents through production of manuals for environmental conservation
