I worked here at the beginning as a Laborer , loved the work and after a few years of working between the Icon Windows workshop and on site For sistering company Douglas & Stewart I began my apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery and progressed over the years.I learned a lot from my time here about all different aspects of construction, from setting out to finishing and everything in-between . I think this was the bonus of working for a construction company as you learn every day the different aspects of each trade.I also got to work in Scotland for almost 3 years as we undertook a couple of massive jobs there .One for the record is the 'Ardfin Estate' on the Island of Jura off the coast of Scotland. This is a once in a lifetime project and experience, with a Huge estate house and golf course which was completely transformed and a pleasure to work on.Hugely enjoyable and knowledgeable years spent with these two companies.
