Responsibilities:-Implement processes in order to constantly assess and monitor quality performance and the quality of products manufactured by the Plant-Achieve the Quality and Customer Satisfaction targets and levels defined for the Plant -Authorize to ship and sell the manufactured products by the Plant -Take any action and decision to support Quality and Customer Satisfaction improvement-Ensure that products manufactured in the Plant are compliant with regulations in force-Assess any process, action and activity performed by third parties in the Plant (e.g. suppliers, sub-contractors and partners), request them to be compliant with regulations and the defined quality levels and targets-Ensure that each product manufactured in the Plant complies with the product-process definition

• Manage the elaboration of the Industrial Master Plan / Strategy for the plant with participation of all affected stakeholders• Engage and challenge all stakeholders towards masterplan implementation • Assure the industrial performance of the plant/site (manufacturing cost, quality, flexibility, …)• Assure the coherence of the industrial evolution of the plant with its general objectives• Lead industrial projects, vehicle runout projects and investments the plant benefits from• Benchmarking manufacturing performance with industrial partners

• Responsibility for management of the department, ensuring the production and continuous optimization of the processes to fulfill availability, performance and Quality Targets• Assurance and optimization of product and process quality within defined targets• Communication and implementation of Operations strategy within the defined areas• Assurance of a daily operation in a safe, orderly, clean, environmental sustainable production area in compliance with local regulations and laws for employees, visitors, equipment and environment• Meeting the targets related to quality, costs and schedules for the products manufactured within production• Continuous optimization of operative processes within the production department, in cooperation with the supporting departments to increase the profitability of manufactured products• Ongoing support of development and planning areas the design of production-oriented products and processes• Reflection of the Feasibility of manufacturing process of existing production to developing and planning areas• Planning and continuous controlling of the human resource and investment budgets for the department• Customer connection point in Production for various Audits and claims internally as well as externally.• Leadership of employee within production department (1000 people)• Communication of corporate objectives to the department employees,communication of corporate strategies of production technologies to the department employees

Responsible for high level advanced manufacturing studies,Execution of SKD ProjectsExecution of Total enterprize cost studies (e.g. MOB, Insourcing, etc.)

Leadership of an Engineering team responsible for PLC Controls, Robotics, Applications & Plant FloorSystems for all new vehicle programms in Adam Opel vehicle Manufacturing facilities.Development, documentation & upfront validation of clearly defined standards.Cost Estimation coordination.Project Management.ImplementationLaunch support.
