Joined CALI as a consultant in 2014 and was then recruited to work as full time remote employee due to an intimate knowledge of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, communication skills, and robust professional skill set relating to custom code operation and complex data sets.Working within an established organization, I persistently moved the technology forward using the most current and relevant technology. Leveraging the AWS and Akami cloud platforms I created both a DevOps environment and a robust, fault tolerant, scalable infrastructure. Primarily a Linux based organization I developed monitoring and redundant systems within that medium to maintain high uptime and scalability. Prior experience as Computing Technician II for Lockheed Martin Energy Systems, 1990-1995; maintained and developed HAZ-MAT inventory system; managed cradle to grave tracking of all hazardous materials at 3 plants.-Used Bayesian methodology to build tools that included expert systems that enhanced rapid information discovery, under duress, of the presence of hazardous materials at all the plants at Oak Ridge National Labs.-Cooperatively worked with the computing center(s) at Oak Ridge to explore new computing technologies including CRAY based prototype solutions for future needs.
