Daniel Nduka is a brand, one that represents integrity, excellence and precision and as such I want to work with people and organizations that believe in putting out their best work. I am passionate about functional great looking design and it has driven me down this career path. My journey in tech started out as a front-end development intern - this experience (whilst daunting) was so fulfilling in that I got to work across different departments. It expanded my mind to the possibilities and applications of my skill sets. A few years after my internship I returned to the same company as a Junior Front-End Developer. However, it was no surprise that in no time my knack for design led me to apply myself to fill out a gap in the UI/UX team as there was only one designer at the time. I worked closely with him to hone my skills and in a few months I had taken over as the go to Product Designer for HumanManager (one out of the suite of Systemspecs products).In that period I liaised with the other aforementioned designer in advocating for better design practices which included facilitating product design workshops, promoting better design-developer hand offs and UX process documentation. I strongly believe that committing to these processes led to the successful re-birth of HumanManager and I have since then gone on to spread the gospel of adopting UI/UX best practices company-wide.I have been on this journey for over 3 years and with every new step I am even more excited to see where the next one leads me!
