30 years experience acquired in logistics and cement sectors. Out of these, 12 years with Kenya Railways and 18 years with Bamburi Cement. Served 20 years in Kenya and and 10 in Uganda and worked for both organisations in the two countries. In logistics, I have been involved in rail operations within the East African region and in road transportation to move cement raw materials as well as the finished products within the region. In the cement sector, besides doing cement logistics, I have presided over the running of Bamburi Cement's plant in Athi River for 7 years.Over the period, I have had the opportunity to not only experience but also spearhead various aspects of management. They include but not limited to: Health & Safety Management, Team Leadership & Mobilization, Performance Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Centrality of the Customer, Cost Management, Operations Management and Stakeholder Management, among others. In most places where I was privileged to serve, I did leave a strong footprint. It is against this background that I have opted to do some consultancy work in respect to some of the areas and disciplines I have experienced.
