In my role, I conducted the transfer of client data from our previous system to a newly acquired one, ensuring completion before the old system's access period ended. This involved exporting data to Excel in a specified format and categorizing clients by urgency and importance. I maintained strict confidentiality throughout, demonstrating the ability to perform effectively under pressure while upholding data security standards.

Throughout my tenure at Markham Dentistry for Children, I was responsible for ensuring patients’ completion of pre-appointment forms such as insurance, COVID pre-screening, and anesthesia information. These forms were traditionally filled out by hand at the clinic and then scanned for record-keeping. However, due to COVID-19 prevention measures, only a limited number of patients were allowed to be present in the clinic at a given time. Hence, to speed up patients’ service and maximize the number of patients seen in a day, I worked with the clinic staff to digitalize the aforementioned forms to decrease the amount of time spent per patient at the clinic. An added benefit that arose from this was an ease in record keeping of patients’ files and a reduced carbon footprint for the clinic.
