- Work closely with consulting engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and end-users to select and quote appropriate heating and cooling equipment for commercial applications.- Company product expert for multiple product lines within Southwestern Ontario sales territory. - Develop and maintain business relationships to improve awareness of our product offering and to further grow the mechanical products division in the territory. - Manage multiple projects and equipment lead times simultaneously to ensure construction substantial completion times are met.- Work with manufacturers to resolve warranty claims and trouble-shoot any equipment issues.

- Led team of 3 students to diagnose, analyze, re-design and implement a solution for rupturing steam coils in Labatt’s Packaging facility.- Scheduled and managed task progression and delegated team members’ time.- Performed steam and condensate pipe sizing calculations.- Determined appropriate sizing for pumps and collection vessels as required.- Performed heat loss analysis to establish the cost benefit and payback of insulating currently exposed piping. - Prepared a report outlining recommendations to improve the system, including all equipment specifications (with supplier quotes) and drawings (layout and process flow).- Prepared budget analysis of costs associated with equipment procurement and installation contracts, as proof that our design fit into Labatt’s project budget.

Responsible for all aspects of project management related plant improvement initiatives. Involved in project estimation, technical scoping of equipment and installation work, tendering/awarding contracts, on-site construction management, project budget management and project scheduling. Over the course of the internship, I have been the project manager on various projects involving conveying of packaged goods, pipe flow, valves, pumps and flow measurement instrumentation, working platform installation and an overall upgrade of our returnable bottle cleaning system.

Responsible for: - Updating specialized tooling drawings in AutoCAD- Creating training documentation for the full assembly of gas turbine engine components as the final step in the engine assembly process - Running the Engine Assembly tooling transfer from Hamilton, Ontario to North Carolina - managed all assets that needed to be shipped to the new plant - coordinated and managed transfer of all tools and equipment through an external contractor
