The General Engineering Advising Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day operations for the General Engineering (GE) Advising Team at Virginia Tech, a team responsible for supporting one of the largest first-year Engineering classes in the nation. This is a three year role, during which time I will still be serving as an Academic and Career Advisor with a reduced student caseload, while advocating for the GE Advising Team and General Engineering students as Advising Coordinator.

Project creator and director of VPI in World War I, which is a digital project and archive dedicated to documenting the lives of Virginia Tech alumni who served in the First World War and to broadening the understanding of the institution's role in this international conflict. This project began during my time as a graduate student in the Virginia Tech History Department, and I continue work on the project on an unpaid basis in my free time.VPI in World War I is hosted on Omeka by Virginia Tech University Libraries.

Worked as a member of a cross-disciplinary team involving professors and researchers from computer science, education and history to create a crowdsourced digital archive. The archive, "Mapping the Fourth of July in the Civil War Era" is an archive dedicated to revealing the history of the 4th of July and how it was celebrated during the Civil War era. Summer fellowship in early American history, early American material culture, and museum studies. The fellowship culminated in a research project in which I explored the evolution of hard cider production in Deerfield from 1750 to 1830.
