CurrentGeneral Responsibility:Manage and supervise the Hazardous cargos and the special cargos shipments in the Asia Pacific RegionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Manage and supervise the Hazardous teams for the jobs duty and the assignment of ZIM and GSL trade services.•Follow up and approve the application of particularly sensitive and high risk hazardous cargos.•Follow up and approve the application of special cargo such as Military, Condense Mass cargos, Waste, Flexi-tank, Hazardous… Show more General Responsibility:Manage and supervise the Hazardous cargos and the special cargos shipments in the Asia Pacific RegionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Manage and supervise the Hazardous teams for the jobs duty and the assignment of ZIM and GSL trade services.•Follow up and approve the application of particularly sensitive and high risk hazardous cargos.•Follow up and approve the application of special cargo such as Military, Condense Mass cargos, Waste, Flexi-tank, Hazardous in Reefer and Metal Scrap etc.•Follow up and implement the ZIM’s in-house policy according to the instruction of Global Hazardous Desk.•Maintain updated knowledge of local regulations and enforcement policies and disseminates to all concerned parties.•Conducts the IMDG & Special cargos training for all domestic and overseas employees involved with hazardous materials transportation in the Asia Pacific Region.•Organizes and monitors the response to hazardous materials and environmental incidents.•Monitors the Hazardous cargos related activities in areas subject to local regulations and identify the problems before violations occur.•Follow up with appropriate departments and personnel to correct conditions that led to violations and prevent recurrence.•Conduct the quarter hazardous report to the Operations Director for study and analysis.
