My role combines technical precision with creativity to develop beverage flavors that meet evolving market trends and client requirements. This position requires in-depth training across multiple areas of flavor development, from understanding raw materials to balancing complex flavor profiles and ensuring product feasibility.Key Responsibilities:Flavor Formulation & Development:- Create prototype samples to align with client briefs and provide multiple flavor concepts for evaluation.- Apply my growing expertise to ensure flavor compatibility across a variety of beverage bases (e.g., carbonated drinks, functional beverages, juices).Sensory Evaluation & Analysis:- Participate in internal sensory panels to assess and fine-tune flavor profiles, ensuring the final products achieve optimal taste and aroma balance.- Develop an understanding of regional taste preferences and market-specific flavor trends.Technical Troubleshooting & Optimization:- Solve formulation challenges, such as flavor instability, precipitation, and off-notes in beverage applications.- Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure that formulations meet compliance standards for global markets.Learning and Development:- Undergo structured training under senior flavorists, acquiring knowledge about raw materials, techniques, and sensory attributes.- Participate in cross-functional meetings with marketing, sales, and R&D to enhance my commercial and technical understanding.Project Management & Client Collaboration:- Coordinate with clients to understand their product goals and deliver tailor-made flavor solutions.- Manage multiple development projects, tracking timelines to ensure on-time sample deliveries and alignment with brief specifications.
