• Drawing an array of technical drawings, using AutoCAD. These drawings range from preliminary tender stage right through to finished ‘As Built’ construction drawings.
• Designing projects based on client requests and liaising with clients to ensure all expectations are met.
• Working alongside other Design Technicians as part of a diverse team, on large scale projects spanning a variety of sectors including commercial, educational, welfare and residential.
• Completing work to programmes and submitting information and drawings to clients and online portal sites to meet deadlines set.
• Ensuring the project information is updated throughout the design phase.
• Controlling drawing revisions and version control of designs.

• Completed training, including the use of key software (AutoCAD/Inventor) and gaining familiarity with associated roles such as Structural Engineers, Architects, Sub-Contractors, Estimators and Factory managers.
• Working on a range of construction drawings including Mechanical and Electrical, and 3D Steelwork modelling on Inventor.
• Working alongside external architects and sub-contractors, and helping with multidisciplinary coordination.
