I am a junior in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. I am currently majoring in Applied Economics and Management and looking to concentrate in finance. My current interests include investment banking, finance and marketing. My previous experiences have allowed me to develop the following transferable skills and qualities: -Leadership: At my previous positions, I learned how to further develop my communication and personal skills along with my event planning skills. Specifically, I know that I have grown as a leader and have become emphatic, passionate and highly regarded in my roles As the treasury of my high school’s Spanish Honor Society, it was my responsibility to keep track of funds and make sure that the events were well funded and would run smoothly. -Communication: To expand on my communication skills, I was a soccer referee for my local soccer league. It would be my duty to explain the rules of the game to young children and to foster their love of the game. Additionally, I would have to maintain my composure and speak calmly when speaking to coaches who do not agree with my decisions.I am enthusiastic to broaden my business knowledge in order to positively impact my community in meaningful ways and I am confident that my skills and will help achieve that goal.
