I was the leader of my party in the local parliament, elected official in the municipal board and its committee on growth and sustainable development. The committee's work focused on social, environmental and economically sustainable development, with the 2030 global sustainable development goals as the guiding entity. Focus was on strengthening the cooperation with idea-driven organizations, local entrepreneurs and to act as the group leading the work in adopting plans applicable to the municipality for all the three aspects of sustainable development in order to accelerate the development.

Responsibility for preschool, primary school, special needs education, leisure centers and the municipal School of Arts for 15 000 children and 3000 employees in one of Sweden's largest municipalities. My experiences from the Board of Education have given me an understanding of the responsibilities of the local education administration in the Swedish setting, and the struggles that come with providing equitable high quality education for all. I especially devoted my energy to push for an increased focus on improving equality of opportunity for all children, to address the needs in preschool frequently and to act to increase working conditions for employees.

I took responsibility for the unit's work on systematic quality improvement. It entailed guidance of colleagues, leading the work, and engaging with the National Agency for Education in a project for increased local capacities in the systematic quality improvement work.

I led, coordinated, administered and evaluated the election campaign in the Halland Region for the national, regional and local elections 2018. The job was very diverse and entailed everything from strategic campaign planning and leading sessions on communication, to ordering and distributing ballots, as well as taking photographs of candidates and to design campaign material and digital content.
