The DevOps Group delivers software technology solutions, process improvements, and infrastructure to deliver a powerful, efficient, and adaptable technology experience across Draper's diverse array of programs. This includes the design and build of detailed infrastructure solutions/repeatable patterns (build-kits) for non-production and production environments; transitioning knowledge to infrastructure operations; and evangelizing our agile and CI/CD processes.

Software Engineer and Task Lead in Draper's Full-stack Development Group building web applications for customers in the defense industry. One example of such a web application is WebTAK (see attached articles). Work on agile development teams using technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Redux.

Programmed software application for Air Force Intel Analysts using TypeScript, React, MobX State Tree.Anchor engineer on project with responsibilities that included application development, configuring CI/CD pipelines, making and spreading awareness about architectural decisions, deploying the application to classified environments, maintaining team health, and upholding XP best practices.First 7 months of the project spent at Pivotal Labs. Pair programmed with Pivotal consultants to learn best practices in programming as well as user-centered design, agile and lean product development methodologies, test driven development, and continuous integration.

In my years in the active duty Air Force, I focused primarily in three areas:Space Operations | Program Management | Software Development

Lead the test and development activities for the Air Tasking Order Management System (ATOMS) and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Planner (IAMD Planner). I was the Test & Integration 2 Program Manager under the Command & Control Air Operations Suite - Command & Control Information System (C2AOS-C2IS) program. During this time I also served as the Deputy Program Manager for C2AOS-C2IS.

Worked with team to maintain current capabilities and conduct emergency maintenance of software in “sustainment” stage. Software had been deployed at Air Operation Centers. Software's purpose was air battle planning and resource management of military assets like planes and weapons.

Led crew of 12 in ensuring satellite health and communications of $1.2 B satellite system. Also processed data from satellites to detect missile/infrared events and alert the U.S. and its allies of incoming missile threats. Awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for leading a 30 member team through 1,544 error-free hours of operations, processing fifty-nine missiles and 1,297 infrared events while working as a space operation crew commander.
