We make performance hardware for gaming enthusiasts! My current role is as a Senior Product Development Manager at Mad Catz Europe Ltd. It is my responsibility to drive a project from start to finish, ensuring that it is launched to market successfully and meets the initial customer requirements. This involves a variety of responsibilities that include drafting specifications, carrying out detailed market research and working closely with a dedicated Project Manager in Asia. It also involves playing the odd game here and there.During my 7 years in this role, I have built up extensive experience of working with multiple departments, different processes and managing my time effectively between numerous projects. I also have a lot of experience carrying our user testing on our products, and providing customer support via email and phone. I was the sole point of contact in Mad Catz UK tech support for three years, and have experience in delivering fast and effective support to resolve customer issues.I have experience dealing with customers, both private and public, and experience working as part of a team. I regularly chair project meetings and make the extra effort to build good relationships with colleagues to work with them on a one-to-one level. When necessary, I am comfortable working alone, and putting in the extra time and effort to meet deadlines.I believe that I am a trustworthy, honest and diligent worker. I am passionate about gaming and consumer electronics, but above all I am passionate about doing a good job, and getting good results for the team. Outside of work I like to keep myself busy with a variety of interests that include gaming, music (playing and listening), football (playing and watching), reading and cooking. However, with the recent arrival of my daughter, some of these have had to take a back seat.
