I am a carpenter by trade with over 15 years of experience. Starting my apprenticeship straight out of school within the family business I gained the trust and experience required to run operations in the fields of new builds, renovations & insurance work. After completing my apprenticeship, I undertook a cert 4 and then a Diploma of Building. In my role within the business was tasked with making sure jobs were delivered on time, in budget and safely and to the highest pf qualities a role which was taken very seriously in medium to large scale jobs. The pride I take in my quality of work is of the utmost importance.Recently I moved into the Rail Construction industry as a change of scenery to learn new skills as a labourer, I quickly became a Leading Hand and Supervisor thanks to my knowledge of safety and extremely hard work ethic, managing of people and making sure everyone is doing their job to the highest of their ability as safely is paramount to the job description. My carpentry background and knowledge of reading plans and problem solving made the transition rather easy.
