Conduct Single Pilot IFR, VFR and NVG EMS/SAR and Police aviation operations.

- Perform the duties of Captain and Co-Pilot in operational planning, and conduct flying operations utilising the EC665 ARH Tiger and Bell 206 Kiowa. - Plan and conduct aerial Security, Reconnaissance, Surveillance/Search and Overwatch flying operations- Plan and conduct operations utilising a suite of rotary and fixed wing aircraft- Mission planning supervisor - Creation, management and implementation of Standard Operating procedures (SOP’s)- Analyse tactical, political and cultural realities to create effective operations in support of peace keeping initiatives, transportation requirements, and humanitarian activities

- Deliver and assess basic and advanced airbourne flight sequences and manoeuvre training utilising EC665 ARH Tiger aircraft, deliver ground Instruction, and aviation standards to trainee pilots.

- Deliver airbourne day, night, night vision devices, FLIR and instrument flight rules instructional techniques and training in accordance with current training management packages and regulations- Conduct Instructor standardisation, check and training- Manage instructor training and development in accordance with the unit training and assessment program

- Lead and manage a team of EC665 Tiger instructors and trainees. Respond to various tasking priorities, managing and delivering three to nine month courses whilst also meeting course deadlines and upper management training requirements in order to facilitate training delivery at the highest standard- 2IC of the EC665 ARH Tiger wing- Lead and manage a team of both military, and civilian contractor instructors- Course and personnel management of up to 24 trainees- Manage Tiger wing flying operations and programming/scheduling- Registered Training Organisation compliance, safety and governance auditing- Instructor standardisation- Maintain trainee and instructor staff flying records using aviation endurance and fatigue risk management systems

Trained to undertake the role of Army Qualified Flying Instructor.
