I am a Design engineer working for a steelwork fabrictor who has worked on many structures in the nuclear, water, waste to engery and oil industries. I have been involved in the steelwork industry since the year 2000 starting out as a drafstmen and ending up as a designer so I have gained a lot of experience in various sectors. I became a Technician member of the Institute of Structural Engineers in 2009 and I aspire to become an Associate member. I have the ability to produce connection designs, member designs, temporary works designs and analyse structures. I can also create 3D models within Tekla Structures and Tekla Structural Designer and create General Arrangements within these programs or via using AutoCAD. I have also been involved in many structures that have been converted from stick built to offsite modular builds.
