• Ensure compliance with the SPDC’s contractual requirements through the effective implementation of the Alcon’s Quality Management System • Initiate and maintain fabrication and construction dossiers to ensure that all relevant quality documents are in the job file and are completed accurately • Initiate material control, identification, and traceability record as per the DEP• Coordinate NDE activities(internal and third party) • Verify and monitor processes such as welding, non destructive examination, heat treatment, pressure testing and coating to ensure compliance • Verify welding control compliance such as the maintaining of welding records, welding consumables verification, and visual weld inspection • Coordinate welding procedure qualification and welder’s tests• Report directly to the QA/QC Manager• Prepare quality procedures and inspection test plan for mechanical, piping, welding, painting and installation works• Prepare weld map, dimensional control and other quality control documents for fabrication• Perform welding and Painting inspection • Supervise welders and fitters
