− Obtain CPR/AED credentials and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.− Operates an emergency medical vehicle to transport discharged patients to long-term care facilities and home environment;− Operates and monitors communications equipment to maintain contact with dispatchers;− Assists receiving facility in obtaining and recording patient’s vital statistics and circumstances of the call;− Prepares reports for billing and other record keeping purposes;− Responds to emergency calls for service involving medical emergencies within THOCC’s Emergency Department;− Assists Emergency Department staff, paramedics and other emergency medical responders in providing emergency medical and healthcare;− Provides emergency medical care to the ill and injured within the scope of an Emergency Medical Technician;− Maintains vehicles and medical and communication equipment, and replenishes first aid equipment and supplies;− Sterilizes equipment and ambulance and operates within infection control protocol;− Participates in training, public education and equipment maintenance;− Performs related duties as required.− Stabilize patients for transportation to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, & care centers.− Collaborate with other Paramedics and EMTs to provide high-quality patient care.− Administer routine procedures to patients, including CPR and intravenous (IV) therapy− Promptly relays information to the appropriate personnel re: patient information related to his/her condition/needs, malfunction of equipment, patient charges, ordering supplies etc.− Maintains a neat and orderly environment.− Exercise proper patient transfer techniques including body mechanics.− Be knowledgeable of Hunter’s Ambulance safety policy and procedures.− Follow instructions; successfully complete an in-service orientation; ability to keep simple records.− Respect patient's privacy and dignity.

- Guide visitors efficiently around university facilities, buildings, and campus. - Serve as an information resource for campus visitors, faculty, students, and staff (both walk-in and telephone calls)- Suggest appropriate departments to get additional information regarding extracurriculars, admissions, research, and study abroad opportunities. - Respond to incoming phone calls related to visiting main campus. - Coordinate University visitor information and personal reflections about the undergraduateexperience. - Demonstrate ability to work independently and as effective member of a team.

- Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a program for students to explore their interests in medicine, dentistry, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and public health. - Program Goal: to increase diversity in health professions by recruiting and preparing underrepresented minority and socioeconomically disadvantaged students for successful educational experiences and careers in health care.
