Persal provides manufacturing solutions for many industries, such as oil & gas, solar, mining, construction, automotive, among others. The Product Engineer at Persal is in charge of the first step in the life cycle of a product, providing manufacturing with CAD drawings and instructions, as well as define how each component will be prepared for assembly.Main responsibilites include:- Analyze customers' drawings and generate 3D CAD model.- Define manufacturing processes for each component in an assembly.- Define and assign times for each process.- Generate 2D CAD drawings for each component in an assembly for material planning.- Define final manufacturing requirements (machining, paint, accessories).- Create, update and finalize a prodct's BOM.- Provide manufacturing with drawings and instructions for assembly.- Process customers' drawing changes and update 3D model and BOM accordingly.- Place red lines on printed copies to reflect changes as needed.- Request deviatons to customer to improve manufacturability, as needed.- Provide support throughout the product's manufacturing cycle.

Engineering support activities for the flight control system assemblies - Electromechanical Systems Division - for the Boeing 787, which include:- Support daily manufacturing activities in a timely manner.- Correcting process flow issues, create rework instructions for assemblies and/or modify rework flow for in process assemblies.- Propose and implement improvements for manufacturability. - Design fixtures for assembly.- Propose assembly sequence changes. - Engineering change proposals to design drawings, markup/redline and justification.- Root cause analysis on manufacturing/test failure issues.- Ensure compliance with military and/or federal requirements for systems.- Modify/improve existing work instructions.- Modify existing procedures, guides and work manuals to increase their scope or add detail.

Part of manufacturing site start-up team.Validated first process transferred to site and trained first operators.Process related activities:- Line transfer.- Equipment installation and validation.- Analyze and reduce process defects.- Perform statistical analysis.- Provide and implement improvement ideas.- Lead SPC team. - New product introduction, including: - First run readiness and monitoring. - Operating procedure updates. - Engineering changes.Test related activities- Hand-on experience with test equipment (safety grounding, voltage loading, power test)- DAQs and PC interfacing.- Calibration checks, and test report generation.- Specification update.- Continuous improvement to process.- Safety improvements.

Reviewing blueprints and make changes whenever needed, also, update those changes on the parts 3D models. When a new design of a part is needed, work the new design or make some changes to older designs.
